Application Process
Please Read Before Applying
Brooks House is a transitional, non-emergency shelter. Our program is designed for women who are ready to participate in a structured environment and work toward long-term stability. Applications for Brooks House must be completed in person at the house and are not available online or by mail. A valid photo ID is required when applying. Once an application is submitted, our team will review it and conduct background checks for all applicants. Because Brooks House is a transitional (non-emergency) shelter, the full review process may take several weeks to complete.
If no rooms are available at the time of approval, applicants may be placed on a waiting list until space becomes available. Appointments to complete an application may be scheduled, but they are not required.
We are not:
An overnight or emergency shelter
A drug or alcohol rehabilitation program
A domestic violence shelter
Visit Brooks House to complete an application and bring a valid photo ID.
